Projects worth P12 million to create meat shops and feed milling facilities in local government unitsthat are expected to be finished within the year, were approved by the Negros Occidental provincial government for the Alliance of Hog Raisers of Negros Occidental (AHRANO) yesterday.
Provincial Veterinarian Renante Decena said yesterday that these projects aim to help the hog raisers in the province boost their production and give them new venues to market and sell their products.
Carbon elected Ceneco prexy

The members of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative Board of Directors elected their new officers during their Board meeting Tuesday in Bacolod City.
Elected president was Dwight Carbon, vice president - Roy Cordova, secretary - Joselito Gaston, and treasurer - Noel Alarcon.
Meanwhile, Ceneco Member-Consumer Integrated Services Division chief Roel Venus yesterday said they are warning their consumers against fake Ceneco social media accounts.
