post win in Fil-Sino caging

Tanduay Ice-TalisayMiggies squeaked past Beer na Beer Silver Graces Construction, 95-94, in overtime while Brew Kettle-MSW Bleachers debuted with a victory against Manila Beer-Team POC, 87-81, in Class A of the Fil-Sino Asia Brewery Cup at the Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym in Bacolod City.

With MiggiesTalisay down by four points in overtime, Bryan Alunan nailed a triple and Angelo Calupit added a twinner to complete the come-from-behind win.

SilverGraces had a last chance with 20 seconds left but their three attempts failed as time expired.

Irvin De La Peña paced Talisay Miggies with 21 points as e Ryan Hugnatan added 18,Alunan made 16 points and Nicole Antiporda produced 13 points.

Silver Graces Construction was spearheaded by Errol Doromal and Erwilson Santos, who finished with 23 points each, while Tata Javillo drilled 14 points and John Gilbor and Tommy Andren dropped 8 points.

In the other game, Mark De La Cruz led Brew Kettle with 23 points as Carlo Chu and Robbie Jalandoon scored 10 points apiece. Ryan Maningo paced Team POC with 16 points.

Other game results show Cobra Berry-Super Twins registering an emphatic win against opening day victor Tiger-Singcang Destroyer, 97-69.*
