The records of the cases filed by a police officer against the vice mayor of Moises Padilla town in Negros Occidental, and her husband are being forwarded to the Office of the Regional Prosecutor for appropriate action.
Deputy Provincial Prosecutor Ma. Consolcaion Bascug ordered the forwarding last week of the records on the complaint filed by former Moises Padilla police chief, Senior Inspector Allan Reloj , against Moises Padilla Vice Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia Yulo and her husband, Felix Mathias Segundo Feria Yulo.
The transfer of records was ordered following a motion for inhibition filed by Reloj imputing bias and partiality on the investigating prosecutor Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Elsie Madrangca-Sendico and Bascug, after she issued an order dated Dec. 29,2017.
The order found that evidence of Reloj against the Yulos for possession of grenades insufficient to proceed with inquest proceedings and ordered their release from jail.
The case was then re-docketedfor regular preliminary investigation and consolidated with two other related cases, Bascug said.
In his motion for inhibition, Relo asked that the case be elevated to the Department of Justice for proper disposition.*
