No definite plans yet
for politics – Monico
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

Former Bacolod mayor Monico Puentevella said yesterday that he has no definite political plans yet for 2019.

Puentevella said that at the moment, he is enjoying his life since he has enough time to play lawn tennis and basketball which he had not done before.

He also has time for his grandchildren and children, which he may not have if he returns to politics, he said when asked about talks circulating that there is a possibility that hewould team up with Bacolod Councilor Ricardo Tan and Abang Lingkod Partylist Rep. Stephen Paduano.

Puentevella said if his services are needed and people will ask him to run for mayor or congressman, he has time to think about it and weigh his options. But right now nothing is definite. However, he will support any candidate who is against the present administration because he is not happy, he said.

Puentevella said he is friends with Tan, Paduano and many other politicians, but had no serious talks about politics.

In politics anything is possible. But, as of now, he has many options. He does not have to run but he can still be a leader on issues like real property tax, he said.*CGS
