Citation tickets justified
BY RENE GENOVE

The Dumaguete Traffic Management officer, Gilbert Ablong Sr., did not penalize drivers of the tricycles who refused to pick up a senior citizen, as shown in the video that was shared many times by netizens.

A press release from City Hall said that after a thorough investigation, Ablong found out that the refusal of the five drivers of MCH units to pick up the passenger was justified.

He said they cannot pick up the passenger since the area was designated exclusively for the unloading of passengers and cargo.*RG
