Ceres bus fare hiked

Vallacar Transit Inc. increased its Ceres bus fare byan additional P1 to P2 in all of its routes in Negros Occidental starting yesterday.

VTI started to implement the increase due to the continued increase in fuel prices, its Legal and Media Relations Manager, Jade Seballos, said yesterday.

The increase is still within their fare matrix issued by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, she said. .moremoremore

Baciwa maintenance fee up P13

An increase of P13 will be reflected in the billing of consumers of the Bacolod City Water District starting February.

Baciwawill adjust its meter repair and maintenance fee (MRMF) from P2 to P15 per month effective in its February 2018 billing.

The adjustment in the MRMF, now named service connection maintenance fee (SCMF), was approved by the BaciwaBoard under its Board Resolution No. 009, dated January 12. .moremoremore

Hike in fuel prices noted in
Bacolod, Dumaguete

Fuel prices in Bacolod and Dumaguete City from the four major oil companies increased to P0.80 per liter, the Pump Price Monitoring record of the Department of Energy-Visayas Field Office showed.

Based on their price monitoring conducted Jan. 16 to 17, pump prices of all kinds of petroleum products of Caltex, Petron, Shell, and Total have increased, from P0.80 to P1.28 from previous monitoring in the first week of the month.

Premium gasoline with 98 and 95 octane, and unleaded gasoline (ULG) showed a P0.80 per liter increase, while the price of automotive diesel oil (ADO) increased by P0.55 per liter. . .
