Liquigaz refilling plant opens

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia led the opening of the Liquigaz Philippines Corp. refilling plant at the Bredco Port in Bacolod City yesterday.

Liquigaz is the second largest supplier of liquefied petroleum gas in the country, its president and CEO, Edward David, said yesterday.

David said Liquigaz is one of the companies owned by Cosco Capital, their main holding company, and Puregold chain of groceries.

Their company has decided to penetrate the whole Visayas and Mindanao area by opening a refilling plant in Bacolod City, he said.

David said they will be appointing dealers and opening stores in the whole Negros Island. They also plan to open a refilling plant in Panay Island and Leyte.*CGS
