DMLMHS unbeaten
in NBTC Silay leg

Back-to-back wins against Sagay City Senior High School and Vito National High School-Sagay rendered Doña Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School unbeaten in the early round of the 208 National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Silay Leg played at the Natalio G. Velez Gym in Silay.

The Doña Montserrat cagers routed their counterparts from Sagay, 85-52, and displayed the same dominance over the squad from Vito, 85-59, to take the top ranking in the team standings.

Vito National High School earlier prevailed over Brgy. E. Lopez National High School (BELNHS)-Silay, 85-71.

Also with a pair of victories is Sagay City's Universal School of Applied Technology (USAT), which won over St. Theresitas Academy (STA), 62-49, and against BELNHS, 90-79.

STA bounced back with a win against Silay Basketball Girls, the only female team in the tournament, 78-43.

The Silay Girls team joined the tournament to help them prepare for the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) where they will represent Negros Occidental.*
