MPadilla VM files raps,
calls for Reloj dismissal

An administrative complaint seeking the dismissal from the service of former Moises Padilla police chief, Senior Inspector Allan Reloj, and four other policemen,was filed before the National Police Commission Monday.

The complaint for grave irregularities in the performance of duty, grave misconduct, grave dishonesty and oppression, were filed by Moises Padilla Vice Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia Yulo and her husband, Felix Mathias Segundo Feria Yulo III, their lawyer Karol Joseph Chiu said yesterday.

In the meantime, a90-day preventive suspension of the policemen is also being sought since the charges against them are very serious and the evidence of guilt is strong, he added..moremoremore

Degamo to hasten services

Gov. Roel Degamo yesterday said he will return all Capitol personnel to their original posts when he resumes the governorship of Negros Oriental today, to ensure the swift delivery of government services to the people.

Vice Gov. Mark Macias removed and reshuffled Capitol personnel when he assumed the governorship following his 90-day suspension in October , Degamo said.

Degamo's90-day preventive suspension by the Sandiganbayan, in connection with a case involving the use of a P460 million calamity fund, that took effect October last year,ended yesterday. .moremoremore

Nine brgys given ultimatum
to take part in Bacolod BOSS

Executive assistant Samuel Montoyo yesterday said he is giving the barangays until today to participate in the Business One-Stop-Shop at the Bacolod Government Center, or he will file a complaint against them for disobedience before the Office of the President.

Montoyo said that, as of yesterday, 52 barangays have responded positively while there are still nine who have not participated.

His cut-off date is today because the BOSS will run until January 20, based on the ordinance, unless it will be extended by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod, which usually happens. This means he will no longer entertain complaints or appeals after the extension or deadline, he said..
