A grand opening

LA VIDA NEGRENSE

It was a memorable grand opening for Pepper Lunch at SM City Bacolod recently.

Welcoming the guests that day were Charles and Ginette Yanson Dumancas, and Marlow and Ina Cortez. The affair began with the ribbon-cutting by the business partner couples and the blessing of the restaurant by Rev. Fr. Rayman Asoy.

Guests felt like master chefs as they cooked their own meals the way they wanted it to be. Adding to the impressive list of this new restaurant is their imported hot plates, which will cook your meal in just a few minutes!

Seen enjoying mixing the ingredients for their own cooked food during the event was the matriarch of the Ceres conglomerate, Olivia Yanson, and her friends, and close friends of the Yanson, Dumancas, and Cortez families.

Famous football personalities also came that day. The PFL champions and Negros' beloved football team - the Ceres Negros Football Club - came in full force, much to the delight of their fans. Present were Stephan Schroeck, Roland Mueller, Patrick Reichelt, Manny Ott, Bienvenido Marañon, Kevin Ingreso, Kota Kawase, Jeffrey Christaens, Ian Ramsay, and Carlie de Murga.

Everyone had a treat of their restaurant's specialty dishes, cooked the way they like it. Among the all-time Filipino favorites are the delicious sisig pepper rice and Bicol express pepper rice.*
