Macias inspects
Agaton-hit areas

Governor Mark Macias conducted an ocular inspection of damaged infrastructure due to Tropical Storm Agaton with several provincial and local government officials in Pamplona, Negros Oriental, yesterday.

They went to Barangay Simborio where the approach to the Simborio Bridge collapsed at the height of the storm. A temporary walkway for individuals and motorcycles was installed at the bridge, a NegOr Capitol report said.

Macias also inspected the damaged spillway leading to Ilalan Elementary School in Barangay Yupisan.

The group also went to Barangay San Isidro where a massive landslide closed-off a portion of the Pamplona - Sta. Catalina national highway.*
