Malabor tops SP attendance

Board Member Renato Malabor Jr. topped the attendance for the Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan sessions for 2017.

Malabor attended 48 of the 51 SP regular sessions last year, followed by Board Member Pedro Zayco with 46, Board Members Helen Zafra and Salvador Escalante Jr. with 45 each.

Board Member Jose Maria Alonso ranked fourth with highest number of attended sessions with 44, Rommel Debulgado - 43, Board Members Antonio Encarguez Sr. and Victor Javellana - 41, Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson- 40, Annabelle Bermudo and Manuel Frederick Ko 39, Valentino Miguel Alonso -38, Gatuslao and Mirhan -37, and Lacson -25.

Board Member David Albert Lacson registered the highest number of official business and travel with 22, followed by Board Members Samson Mirhan and Alain Gatuslao with 14 each, SP records show.

Vice Gov. Lacson topped the list with having the most number of official leave with 4, while Debulgado, Board Member Lacson and Valentin Miguel Alonso has one absence each.

Vice Gov. Lacson also served twice as acting governor of Negros Occidental, while Escalante also served once as acting governor and three times as acting vice-governor. * GPB
