2 students lose
bags in Church
BY SHIELA GELERA

Two students of the St. John's Institute in Bacolod allegedly lost their bags to a thief at the Redemptorist Church at BS Aquino Drive in Barangay 5, Bacolod, at about 9 a.m. yesterday.

The victims, whose names the police withheld for being minors, were practicing for an activity in the church when they noticed their bags gone, Chief Insp. BenedictoVillarias, Police Station 2 commander, said.

The minors told the police that they suspected a male person they had seen in the vicinity as the one who took their bags, and investigations on the identity of the suspect are still ongoing, Villarias said.

He said the bags reportedly contained cellular phones and several school stuff.

There were also no closed-circuit television cameras at the area, Villarias added.*SGG
