A magical night

LA VIDA NEGRENSE

It was a night of glitz and glamor as the children of Bacolod's elite had the most lavish prom in recent history.

Held at Sugarland Hotel in Bacolod, the event of the year proved to be an exciting evening filled with regality, pageantry, and dancing - a splendor like no other. The young heirs and heiress of Bacolod's business and sugar empires were chic and dazzling in their outfits. The ladies were an awesome sight to behold as each gown was unique and created individual statements.

Made by the most prominent couturiers of the land, the gowns were embedded with laces, crystals, and pearls. Standing out that night were a handful of princesses wearing their moms' diamonds, probably the best diamonds in southern Philippines. These ladies sparkled as bright as the stars in a cloudless night. That evening, the tales of princes and princesses, of castles and royalty were much felt in the hearts of everyone present.

Making the event an outstanding success were the hardworking parents of the children. The parents were proud that they have contributed to the smiles, laughter and enjoyment of their children, not to mention their expensive suits and ball gowns! It may just be one single evening, but the memory of this affair will live on in the memories of their children.

Indeed, fairytales do still come true.*
