Selected Social Security System branches under the Visayas West 1 Division, which includes the provinces of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental, have extended office hours during weekdays, or until 7 p.m., and are open on Saturdays for the whole month of February, its press release said.
SSS Bacolod Lacson and Dumaguete have extended the office hours of its cashiering and Member Services Section to accommodate paying members and employers, in connection with the implementation of the Real Time Processing of Contribution system.
SSS Bago, Bais, Sagay, and Victorias are open on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to ensure that members and employers will be able to pay their contributions, the press release said.
Aside from accepting contribution payments, these branches have also designated employees to assist individually-paying members and employers in registering with My.SSS.
Implemented on January 16, 2018, the RTPC allows the immediate validation, transmission, and acknowledgement of SSS contribution data between the payment facility and the SSS system, and subsequently, the posting to members' contribution records. All employers, including household employers and individually-paying members such as voluntary members, self-employed, non-working spouse and overseas Filipino workers, must register with the My.SSS facility in the SSS website at sss.gov.ph for the issuance of Payment Reference Number which they will use in paying SSS contributions, the press release added.*
