BY RENE GENOVE

The Negros Oriental Electric Cooperative 2 announced a power service interruption from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, in Barangay Taclobo, Dumaguete City.

Noreco 2 said they will disconnect the 3-phase power lines in front of the PHCCI building to Ciriaco Espina Street, Bogo Memorial Park, San Jose Extension, Dumaguete City.

Tomorrow, Barangay Piapi 3-phase power lines will be disconnected beside the Royal Oaks School in the Amigo Subdivision area. Noreco 2 said the power interruption will start from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On February 8, a multiple power interruption is slated, with the disconnection of the 3-phase power lines from Goldwin Talay road to Lower Cantil-e, Upper Cantil-e in Dumaguete City and parts of Bong-ao in Valencia and Isugan, Bacong, Negros Oriental.

Noreco 2 warned the consumers that all works may be finished ahead of time and power may be restored earlier than scheduled, and to consider the lines always energized. Member-customer-owners in the affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions.*
