MANILA - Petroleum companies announced yesterday another round of pump price increases that will take effect starting 12:01 a.m. today.
Gasoline prices are set to rise by 50 centavos per liter; diesel, 35 centavos per liter; and kerosene, by 60 centavos per liter.
Flying V will implement the new pump prices at 12:01 a.m. while Shell, PTT Philippines, SeaOil, Unioil, and Eastern Petroleum will adjust their pump prices at 6 a.m.

PH in goods exhibit in Germany
Two Negrense entrepreneurs will be part of the delegation to represent the Philippines in an international trade fair exhibition in Germany this week.
Doreen Alicia Peña of Silay Export Inc., and Maria Antoinette Colmenares of Artisana Island Crafts, will join 10 other entrepreneurs from the country to exhibit in the annual Ambiente Frankfurt International Consumer Goods Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, on Feb. 9 to 10.
They were chosen by the Export Marketing Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry, to exhibit their crafts in the Philippine booth, Senior Trade and Industry specialist Mae Buaron said yesterday.
PVO gives out 24,319
animals for livelihood
The Provincial Veterinary Office distributed 24,319 animals, worth P17.56 million, for livelihood last year, records show.
Based on the PVO yearend report, about 24,300 animal heads, with a book value of P17,555,480, were distributed for the livelihood of farmers and livestock raisers in Negros Occidental.
Of this number, 16,448 were new livestock, while 7,871 were re-dispersed. A total of 6,094 households received these live animals.
