Motorcycle sales are growing at more than 10 percent a year, and there is a big market for them in Bacolod and Negros, Hiram Chu, Infinity Ultrabikes president, said Saturday.
Chu and Suzuki Philippines president Hiroshi Suzuki led the twin launch of Infinity Ultrabikes Inc., a Suzuki Big Bike 3S shop, and Platinum Edge Motorcycle Distributors Inc., a Suzuki Regular Bike 3S shop, at the Chu Building at Araneta Avenue in Brgy. Singcang, Bacolod City, Saturday.
The building stands onan about 2,000square-meter property, and is considered to have the biggest motorcycle 3S shops in Bacolod.
“Infinity Ultrabikes is particularly special to us as it is the first Suzuki big bike shop established in the Visayas/Mindanao regions and we could not have chosen a better place than Bacolod City, especially with Bacolod's vibrant economy and the Ilonggo's deep-seated love for motorcycles,” he said.
Chu also said Platinum Edge is the first Suzuki World Shop in the Philippines. “It was established in Dumaguete City during the start of the decade to serve the Suzuki brand to the motorcycle market of Negros Oriental. It has done its duty particularly well and now we strive to do the same to the rest of Negros Island,” he said.
Hiroshi Suzuki said the new shops have every kind of motorbike, from the small to the big ones.
