Assorted homemade guns and suspected shabu were seized by the police in separate raids and buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental Sunday.

The arrest of Garcia yielded an improvised gun with a live bullet for a.38 caliber revolver, assorted illegal drugs paraphernalia with suspected shabu residue, Vargas said, in his report to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.

Suspected shabu, with a market value of P2,000, P500 in marked money and a motorcycle were also recovered by the police during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Zone 1, Cadiz City.

The confiscation of prohibited drugs also led to the apprehension of Ven John Verdeflor, a newly identified alleged drug personality in Cadiz City.

Meanwhile, the raid at the residence of Ronimel Torres, alias Tong Tong, in Brgy. Mailum, Bago City, also yielded a Springfield Armory 45 caliber pistol with a magazine containing ammunition.

Torres, however, was not at his residence during the raid, that was conducted by the police, by virtue of a search warrant issued by Bago Regional Trial Court Judge Frances Guanzon.

An improvised gun with two live ammunition was also recovered in Brgy. Zone 2, Murcia by the police, while responding to a complaint of alarm and scandal.

Benjamen Alvin Lim, 32, and Hernando Sembrano, 26, both residents of Brgy. Zone 3, Murcia, were brought to the town police station, allegedly for creating alarm and scandal.
