NOFA Cup Under-13
slated May 1-5

 

The 3rd Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) Under 13 Tournament is slated to kick off on May 1 at Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City.

As of press time, 18 teams from different areas in the country have confirmed their participation to the five-day competition spearheaded by NOFA.

From Luzon, seeing action in the U13 event are: 07 Eagles, Blue Brothers, Malaya FC, One La Salle and Southridge.

The teams from Mindanao are: Davao Grassroots Champions League (Davao del Sur), Golden Harvest (Bukidnon/Misamis Oiental), Mt. Apo Regional Football Association (North Cotabato), Notre Dame of Tacurong College (Maguindanao) and ZANDIFA (Zamboanga del Norte-Dipolog City).

Also competing are the Visayan teams led by the two teams from host NOFA, Don Bosco Cebu FC, Springdale Titans of Cebu, Barotac Nuevo Football Club, LGU Barotac Nuevo, North Road Guesthouse – Bacong FC and Negros Oriental – Siquijor Regional Football Association.

Initiated by the Dynamic Football League under the supervision of NOFA, the U13 Cup aims at giving young football talents in the country a venue to develop their skills.

Rev. Fr. Ember Tiangso will supervise the tournament as NOFA Cup chairman.*
