Biñas assigned as
Iloilo City police director

Senior Superintendent Henry Biñas, the director of Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, has been reassigned to serve as Iloilo City Police Office director, by virtue of Special Order 9011, dated September 1.

Chief Supt. Cesar Hawthorne Binag, director of the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas, said Biñas' reassignment came after Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido, who was supposed to be the new Iloilo City police director, was retained as Ozamiz City police chief.

In a press conference Saturday, Binag said the decision to cancel Espenido's reassignment came from the national headquarters. .
