Case 1H downs
Atlas in ABC caging

Case 1H (4-1) Agriculture ripped Atlas Fertilizer ,104-100, in the ABC-Crown Agri Trading Cup at the Ayala Northpoint Clubhouse in Talisay City Monday night.

Jobert Julita sizzled for 26 of his 28 points in the third quarter erasing a 9-point deficit at halftime and put Case 1H up by 13 points entering the final period.

Atlas' Brian Coo pounded the shaded lane and tied the game at 85-all with seven minutes remaining but Case 1H responded immediately behind Popoy Jamero and Renren Lacson to give their team some breathing room.

Despite a last minute explosion from Christian Maravilla from the 3-point line, the lead was already too much to overcome.

Julita got scoring support from Jamero with 17 points while Lacson finished with 11. Mark Jomalesa and Boknoy Locsin scored 8 points each, Chac Mirano added 7 as Nikol Medina, Joshua Co, Richard Co, Monmon Khey, Willy Dasal and Pepe Balladares combined for 25 points.

Brian Coo paced Atlas with 21 markers, Maravilla and Karl Torres had 17 and 13 points, respectively, while Arjay Jamero, Jhapeth Cua, and Argy Arnaez finished with 9 points each. Adrian Cuaycong, Gerard Barranechea, Biboy Cunada, Bourne Sioquim, Jason Velasco and Macky Puentebella put together 21 points.

In the second game, Brixton Motor Parts clinched their fifth straight victory by nipping TCB Auto Parts, 85-83.

It was a heartbreaking loss for TCB as they crept back into the game and cut the deficit down to 1-point after trailing by as much as 13 in the second half.

Tommy Andren sealed the final score with a freethrow as Brixton remained on top of the standings.

Jay-r Salga led Brixton with 25 points while Yanyan Dy added 14. Junvel Juayong, Marvin Tan, Tommy Andren, Dantel Llorca, Rixie Ureta, Derick Sibug, Jeremy Coo, Ferdinand Noynay, Dante Ma, Miguel Mosquera and Brian Javelosa put on a balanced effort to combine for 42 more points.

Andrei Dadivas topscored for TCB with 16 while Robby Jalandoon and Bren Tajonera chipped in 15 and 10 points respectively. Axo Yao had 9, Dicken Valdez added 8 as Archie Piccio, Joey Jesena, Paul Ortaliz, Steven Villanueva, Jajac Somo, Luigi Coo, Alex Fernandez, and Efraim Valencia pooled in 25 points.*
