SU graduate 2 nd in
psychologist board exam

A graduate of Silliman University in Dumaguete City in 2009, Karen Joy Patayon, placed second in the 2017 Psychologist Board Examination administered in October, a press release from SU said.

The other passer from Silliman in the same board exam was Aldwin Murphy Kwek.

Silliman also produced 20 certified public accountants, results of the recent CPA board exams shows. The school registered a passing rate of 80 percent, that is higher than the national passing average of 30.45, the press release said.

The new CPAs from Silliman are Rylmarie Aguilar, Gem Jessica Krizzia Ambos, Joel Bandigas, Bermond John Bontia, Gil Buenavista, Frank Lloyd Cadorna, Georgette Mae Dineros, Archimedes Galera, Daphne Lao, Karen Charmaine Llera, Christine Lu, Riva Dianne Lubguban, Ma. Nashra Mangwag, Ann Janine Ontong, Jeff Emerson Ordoñez, Irene Mae Palencia, Wrylan Quiazon, Roselle Ann Ramas, Ethel Tubio, and Gloria Roseni Yrad.

Meanwhile, 48 students graduated from the Contact Center Services-NC II certificate program Tuesday, and each was a recipient of a scholarship grant, a press release from Silliman said.

The certificate program consists of basic, common and core competencies, aimed at preparing students for handling customer complaints and managing inbound and outbound customer care and sales services.

The program is administered by the School of Agro-Industrial and Technical Education, the press release added.*
