Brixton posts fourth victory;
CAT bows to TCB Autoparts

Brixton Motor Parts needed a huge third quarter turn to come from behind for a 93-88 victory over Atlas Fertilizer at the ABC-Crown Agri Trading Cup Thursday.

Jay-r Salga exploded with 23 of his 28 points in the second half to lift his team up from a 16-point halftime deficit.

Atlas just couldn't find an answer to Brixton's offensive onslaught in the last two quarters.

While Salga, Rixie Ureta and Yanyan Dy were piercing their way in the shaded lane, Tommy Andren was raining triples from the outside for a 61-point second half output.

Andren supported Salga with 21 points while Dy joined them in double figures with 11.

Ureta and Shinley Uy chipped in 9 apiece as Marvin Tan, Junel Ucab, Dantel Llorca, and Ferdinand Noynay combined for 15 markers for Brixton (4-1).

Atlas (1-4) was led by Christian Maravilla's 22 points, Arjay Jamero soared, too, as Brian Coo and Karl Torres had 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Mark Velez added 9, while Froilan Fuentes, Bourne Sioquim, and Adrian Cuaycong put together 10 points.

In the second game, TCB Autoparts Merchandising demolished CAT Glyphosate, 105-73, its third win in nine games.

Luigi Coo led TCB (3-2) with 20 points, Andrei Dadivas made all of his 19 points in the 3rd quarter as Bren Tajonera and Robby Jalandoon finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Axo Yao scored 8, Dicken Valdez with 7, while Luigino Lacson, Reygin Oquiana, Efraim Valencia, Steven Villanueva and Joey Jesena pooled in 25 points.

Hans Schulze paced CAT (1-4) with 24 points, Jake DelaPaz added 13, Ronan Batralo and Fredel Doromal made 10 apiece, while Bong Quinon had 10 points.*
