The Muslim communities in Bacolod City and several towns and cities in Negros Occidental, will gather to celebrate the Eid Al-Fitr, at the Bacolod Government Center on Monday.
The Eid Al-Fitrmarks the end of the 30-day Ramadan, which is a month of fasting and prayer for Muslims worldwide.
Imam Omar Betita, head of the Al Dhikr Islamic Call and Guidance Center, said that expected to join them in the prayer and thanksgiving are Muslim brothers and sisters from the southern and northern part of Negros Occidental.
President Rodrigo Duterte has already declared Monday (June 26) as a regular holiday in observance of the Eid Al Fitr.*SGG
