negative for drugs

Moises Padilla ViceMayor Ella Garcia-Yulo and her husband, who are now in jail, for alleged illegal possession of explosives, tested negative of prohibited drugs, Senior Supt. Rodolfo Castil, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, revealed last night.

At the same time,Castil said it was not shabu that was recovered during the arrest of the vice mayor and her husband,Felix Mathias Segundo Yulo III, based on the report of Senior Inspector Allan Reloj,Moises Padilla police chief.

The election fever is on, more than a year before the May 2019 elections.

Dr. Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, younger brother of Rep. Alfredo Benitez, was formally endorsed yesterday as a congressional candidate in the 2019 elections during the Asenso Metro 3rd general assembly in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, that was attended by about 22,000 supporters, as reported by organizers.

The opening of the first Chowking drive-through restaurant in the Visayas is an indication that doing business in Bacolod is vibrant, Mayor Evelio Leonardia said yesterday.
