The signing of a sisterhood agreement between the provinces of Negros Occidental and Pampanga signals the start of a brighter future, their governors, Alfredo Marañon Jr.and Lilia Pineda, said.
Marañon and Pineda yesterday led the signing of the sister province relationship at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol Building in Bacolod City, that aims to promote and strengthen bilateral support to areas of economic enterprise; tourism, arts, culture and sports; livelihood and employment; special projects concern, environmental protection and industry, health and education as well as information and technology.

The Bacolod-Clark route of Philippine Airlines opens the center of Luzon's tourists market to the Visayan market, Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said.
