eager for AFC Cup ASEAN final

The first leg of the 2017 AFC Cup ASEAN Zonal Final kicks off tomorrow in Singapore with the Home United hosting Ceres Negros FC.

In an interview with the AFC Cup media that was posted at the AFC Cup website, Home United top scorer Stipe Plazibat and his counterpart Bienvenido Marañon of Ceres, expressed their thoughts and views of the two-legged finals that will determine the best team in the ASEAN region.

The 27-year-old Croatian player of the Home United has seven goals to his credit in this season of the AFC Cup while Marañon, 31, tallied eight goals.

Sprint 4t Enduro prevails in
game 1 vs. Rev-X Pantra

Sprint 4t Enduro upset top seed Rev-X Pantra, 83-82, Friday in their first encounter in the semi-finals of the 35 and below category of the FIl-Sino Inter-Color Petron Cup at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

The two teams will clash anew tomorrow with the winner advancing to the finals.

Meanwhile, No. 2 Sprint 4t Racer advances to the finals with a victory against Rev-X All Terrain, 90-81.

dominate trio duckpin tournament

BCY-La Filipina Trading emerged as champion in the men's division while multi-titled RJ Stars/NPBC reigned in the women's side of the 12 th Bowlers Club of Bacolod City Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2017 at the Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

Seeded No.2 after the elimination phase, the BCY Team headed by Bobby Yap, crushed the twice-to-beat and top qualifier KMH Team of Sonny Elegado in the their first encounter in the finals, 333-300, and followed it up with 323-305 victory in the rubber match to grab the title.

Reymund Lopez carried the scoring cudgels for the champion squad with 111, while Lyndon Reyes and NonoyHulguin contributed 107 and 105. Michael Corral top scored for the losing KMH with 114.
