Cops ready for ‘Undas'

The Philippine National Police in Negros Oriental is ready for the “long weekend” in time for the observance of All Souls' Day and All Saints' Day on November 1 and 2.

The four-day weekend comes following the declaration of October 31 and November 1 as special non-working holidays to allow people to pay their respects and undertake activities to honor the dead.

As early as yesterday afternoon, the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office started fielding personnel to areas where large influx of people returning for the yearly religious activities are expected to converge, acting provincial director, Senior Supt. Henry Biñas, said. .
