IN BACOLOD
5th Puregold branch to open

Puregold Price Club Inc. will open its fifth branch today at the Centroplex Building at Cuadra-Locsin Streets in Bacolod City.

This is the 263rd branch of Puregold in the Philippines and seventh in Negros Occidental, a press release from the firm said.

Puregold officials led by Antonio De Los Santos, Vice President for Operations, and other guests will be at the opening rites.

There will be a mass and a blessing of the store around 8 a.m. before the opening and the performance of a dragon dance to bring good luck to the people and the community, the press release said.

Puregold is known to have an unmatched customer service anchored on its advocacy to provide Filipinos with their complete shopping needs and best value for their hard earned money, it also said.

Puregold is also known throughout the country for its reasonable prices and wide assortment of items, it added.

It consistently continues its unwavering commitment to uphold consumer and retail excellence in the service of the Filipino people.

Bacoleño entrepreneurs may now have access to the Puregold – Tindahan ni Aling Puring, designed specifically for small and medium scale entrepreneurs, which include sari-sari store owners, karinderya/canteen owners, caterers and other resellers.

End-users or non-business owners may also avail of Puregold Perks – another loyalty program that is open to all shoppers who are 18 years old and above with a minimal membership fee of P100. It can earn points every time they shop at Puregold. Points earned have an equivalent peso value and may be used to purchase at any Puregold store, the press release said.

For the grand opening of Puregold Centroplex Bacolod, the store will have Buy 1 Take 1 offers on selected items.

Puregold also offers PurePadala, where the money that every OFW remits goes directly to the basic and most important necessities of their families such as food, tuition and utilities, loan payments and even as start-up capital for sari sari store businesses among many others.

Puregold calls this “responsible remittance.” This also ensures that the money of OFWs and immigrants send to their families will not be wasted, the press release said.*
