Team Bravo, Charlie
ruled media shootfest

Team Bravo and Team Charlie ruled in Stage 2 and 3 of the Negros Press Club and 303 rd Infantry Brigade Philippine Army Media Fun Shoot at the Brown Eagle Firing Range at Camp Gerona in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental.

Team Charlie led by Army Lieutenant James Santos is composed of Eduard Espellogo, Dolores Epacta Miranda, Hernand Garciniego, Sharcu Lucasan and Ephraim Valencia compiled 50 Stage points and hits factor of .4293 in one minute and 37 seconds to win the Stage 2 competition.

Stage 3 winner, Team Charlie garnered 30 stage points, and.2359 hits in two minutes and 30 seconds.

The members of the winning squads were Army Lt. Col. Eufracio Joel Malig Jr., Teresa Ellera, Rey Siason, Mymy Alagaban, Ian Espellogo and May Castro.

First runners-up in two categories were Team Echo headed by Major Julius Villena and Team Foxtrot of Capt. Russel Bumanglag.

Team Echo had Dolly Yasa, Jefferson Lucasan, Noel Laas, Rid Batoy and Tots Castro, and Rex Cantong, Nico Delfin, Chrysee Samillano, Arvin Gantalao and Ruel Bangoy for Foxtrot.

Team Golf under 1 st Lt. Joseph Labrador and Team Delta captained by 2 nd Lt. Ma. Revekka Roperos were second runners-up.




Top 10 individual shooters were Ian Espellogo, Mymy Alagaban, Arnold Diaz, Sharcu Lucasan, John Allen Jardinazo, Henry James Toga, Nico Delfin, Grace Supe, Dolly Yasa and Rolanie Dabi.

In a friendly basketball game with 303 rd IB team of Col. Francisco Delfin, the NPC squad lost by 17 points at 69-86.

1 st Lt. Joseph Labrador of the army team did the most damaged to the losing team with seven triples.

NPC president Teresa Ellera said the one-day friendly competition was participated in by 31 TV, print, and broadcast media personalities, and nine personnel of SM Bacolod who were among the invited sponsors of the activity, she added.

She also said the event stirred camaderie among the media members as they faced the challenging Fun Shoot.

Col. Francisco Delfin, 303 rd Infantry Brigade commander, thanked the media as their partners in helping the Armed Forces of the Philippines deliver the message of peace and development to fellow Negrosanons.

The media fun shoot was finalized in a meeting of Negros Press Club officers and 303 rd IB representative Lt. Ma. Revekka Knotheless Roperos recently at the NPC office.*HLG
