Capitol rehiring job orders

The majority of the 213 job order casuals in the 11 Negros Occidental provincial government-run hospitals have been rehired, Provincial Budget Officer Jose Percival Salado Jr. said yesterday.

The Capitol has began paying the salaries of the 213 job order casuals for services rendered from January to May, and the majority of them have been rehired for work from July to December, he said.

The Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan had earlier approved the allocation of P23.41 million for the salaries of the job order casuals for this year.

He said that, based on the recommendations of the chiefs of hospitals after an evaluation process in June, most of the 213 have been rehired for another six months.*CPG
