Conference starts today

The Dynamic Football League 2 nd Conference will start today at the Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City with 60 teams seeing action in different age-groups.

The tournament will run until September 4 with games to be played on Saturdays only.

With 13 teams competing in the Under11 category, the organizers decided to split the competing squads into two groups.

Seing action in Under 11 Group 1 are: Montevista Elementary School, Seagull Trinitarian FC, Kickers FC, Athletico Magallon FC, Bago FC, Sum-ag ES, and St. Scholastica's Academy.

Enduro tames Trekker, 79-76,
to stay unbeaten in Petron Cup

Sprint 4t Enduro survived Rev-X Trekker, 79-76, in the battle of unbeaten teams in the 35 and above category of the Fil-Sino Petron Cup 2016 Tuesday night at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

The win against Trekker allowed Enduro to finish on top of the team standings with a clean 4-0 slate while Trekker dropped to No. 2 at 3-1. Sprint 4T Racer takes the No. 3 spot with 2-2, while Rev-X HD40 settled for 1-3 and Sprint 4T Rider is winless after four games.

In the game against Enduro, Trekker was up 73-71 late in the fourth quarter until Julius Teruel and Michael Ang connected on back to back triple to wrestle the lead for good.

Five teams eye crown
in Triangular bowlfest

The final round among the top five teams in three separate categories of the 7 th Negros Occidental High School/Bacolod City High School/Domingo Lacson National High School Triangular Bowl Fest for Unity Tournament will be held at the Negros Super Lanes at the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City, 4 p.m. tomorrow.

NOHS Class '71-73 enjoys a twice-to-beat advantage in the premiere division, while NOHS Batch '97 and NOHS Batch 2000-Up have the same privilege in bracket B and C after the three teams topped the elimination round in their respective category.

Four other teams will challenge them in the battle for the title in an up-the-ladder system.
