CSAV Titans intensify training
in preparation for NOPSSCEA

Two months away from NOPSSCEA Season 35, the Colegio Sta. Ana de Victorias men's basketball team will be wrapping up their tune-up games in Cebu City.

The CSAV Titans are scheduled to play in a three-day Invitational tournament where they will face the top three colleagiate teams in Cebu -- University of San Jose-Recoletos, University of San Carlos, and University of the Visayas.

All three teams figure prominently every year in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) and had produced standout basketball talents, who eventually made a name in the Philippine Basketball Association.

Sta. Ana head coach John Imperio said the Titans will leave for Cebu on July 20. Joining them in the Invitational games are Ateneo de Cebu, PYD MNL team and a squad from Taiwan.

Last week the Titans had a two-day friendly games in Iloilo City where they won against Central Philippine University but lost to John B Lacson Foundation Maritime University and University of San Agustin.*NAB
