Cacao forum in
Dumaguete on July 18

The Department of trade and Industry-Negros Oriental, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Agri-Marketing Assistance Division, will conduct the Regional Cacao Industry Convergence Technology-Investment Forum at the Plaza Maria Suites Inn, Dumaguete City on July 15, 8 a.m.

The free forum will gather stakeholders of the cacao industry in Negros Island Region. DTI-Negros Occidental is inviting cacao growers and producers in the province to join the gathering, Mae Buaron, trade and industry development specialist said.

The Philippine Cacao Industry Roadmap will be highlighted in the activity, as well as the creation of the Regional/Provincial Development Council, she said.

She said the program will present the government programs and project of the different line agencies that support the Cacao Industry.
