2,010 ‘users, pushers'
surrender in NegOr

Some 2,010 “drug users and pushers” have voluntary surrendered to the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office from July 1 to yesterday.

A report from the “Amigo Cops Negros Oriental PNP Text Blast Project” showed that the Sibulan Police Station has 448 surrenderees; Guihulngan City Police Station – 386; Canlaon City PS - 3; Vallehermoso PS - 35; La Libertad PS - 23; Jimalalud PS - 1; Tayasan PS - 54; Ayungon PS - 32; Bindoy - 24; Manjuyod PS - 19; Mabinay PS - 17; Bais CPS - 147; Tanjay CPS - 185;

Pamplona Police Station with 13 surrenderees; Amlan PS - 89; San Jose PS - 131; Dumaguete CPS - 11; Valencia PS - 6; Bacong PS - 7; Dauin PS - 123; Zamboanguita PS - 55; Siaton PS - 12; Sta. Catalina PS - 17; Bayawan CPS - 119; and Basay PS - 56.

The suspected pushers and users voluntarily surrendered through the Project Double Barrel and “Oplan Tokhang”, under the support and guidelines of NORPPO acting director, Senior Supt. Harris Fama, in line with the objectives of President Rodrigo Duterte and Police Director General Ronald dela Rosa, the report furnished the Daily STAR showed.*CGC
