DTI Neg.Occ. releases
suggested retail prices

The Department of Trade and Industry-Negros Occidental released the suggested retail prices issued to guide consumers in the coming rainy season.

The SRP list issued by the DTI-Consumer Protection and Advocacy Bureau included prices for candles, prime commodities, basic necessities and bottled water.

Canned goods price ranges are: luncheon meat, 165 grams (P27.50-P30.55); meatloaf, 150g and 170g (P15.25-P17 and P17.90-P18.60); corned beef, 150g and 175g (P24.25-P28.50 and P31-33.25), and; beef loaf, 150g, 170g and 200g (P15.50-P18.60, P17.90-P18.60 and P24.90).

For condiments, a 350mL vinegar bottle costs P10.40-P12-45; patis or fish sauce, 350mL (P17.60-P21.40), and, soy sauce, 350mL (P13.35-P14.35).

Canned sardines in tomato sauce, 155g, are sold at P12-P13.45; 150g powdered milk packs (P50-P73.30); coffee refill, 25g and 50g (P16.75-19.70 and P33.50-P38.95); loaf bread at P35 and pinoy pandesal pack of 10 at P21.50, and; instant noodles, 55g (P6.30-7.10).

Toilet soaps of 90g and 135g cost P16.50-P19 and P28-P38, respectively; laundry bar soap, 390g and 400g (P16.35-P18.50 and P17.50-P19). Pack of two AA batteries are sold from P20-P37, AA pack of four at P40-P159 and heavy duty batteries in packs of 2 at P45-P59.

Bottled distilled water, 500mL, 1L and 6L (P8-P16, P25 and P50-P81); purified, 500mL and 1L (P 6.75-P11 and P15-P22); mineralized, 330mL, 500mL and 1L (P5-P11, P6.75-P13.50 and P21-P22.50).

Esperma wax candles are sold from P44.74-P125-50 depending on number of candles in a pack and size, while votive candles at P51-P71.
