Cops reach out to schools

Senior Supt. Harris Fama, officer-in-charge of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, has started visiting schools in the province, under his “Operation Bisita Eskwela” campaign.

The campaign was started by Fama when he was the OIC provincial commander in Camarines Norte, and he said he found it effective to strengthen relations with the community, so he brought it to Negros Oriental.

Fama and personnel from the police headquarters visited the elementary school in Boloc-boloc, Sibulan Wednesday, and with the permission of principal Macrina Villaluz, he and his personnel joined the more than 1,022 pupils in singing the national anthem, and in reciting the “Panatang Makabayan” at “Panunumpa sa Watawat”. moremoremore
