DSWD warns politicians vs.
using 4Ps to get votes
BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Corazon Soliman has issued a stern warning against persons, including politicians, who will take advantage of the programs of government for their own vested interests.

Soliman was told an unnamed politician in Negros Oriental had forewarned beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program that their names will be removed from the list if the politician will not win in the May elections, as if he owns the program.

She stressed that nobody, not even the President, can remove a 4Ps beneficiary from the list, but the concerned beneficiary himself or herself for failure to comply with the conditions set by government.moremoremore
