ISFF gets coffee equipment

The Integrated Social Forestry Federation of Don Salvador Benedicto town received coffee post-harvest equipment recently from the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization.

The Don Salvador Benedicto ISF Federation received a coffee moisture meter device, and the donation was facilitated by the Organik na Negros! Producers and Retailers Association and Provincial Environment Management Office, Luisa Tutor, Senior Environmental Management Specialist, said.

The equipment was turned over to Salvador Benedicto ISF Federation chairperson Ninfa Benicua and vice chairperson Mario Tolentino Thursday Tutor said.

The federation will also receive more machines, including a coffee de-pulper, de-huller, and dryer, this month. The donation was approved in December, she added.*KBC
