The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting in Bacolod stepped up its “One Good Vote” campaign in the city by placing its stickers on public utility vehicles yesterday.
The “One Good Vote” is part of their lay-initiated voters' education program focused against vote buying and selling, PPCRV Bacolod volunteer Dannyl Yap said .
He said they took advantage of its being a holiday to wage their campaign to urge the public to practice responsible and conscientious voting.
Yap said PPCRV is batting for CHAMP – Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful, Peaceful – Elections.
They hope their campaign will lead to the eradication of rampant vote-buying in the country, he said.
