Sun opens satellite shop

Sun Cellular, the wireless brand of mobile network operator Digitel Mobile Philippines Inc., has opened its latest Sun Satellite Shop in San Carlos City, in Negros Occidental bringing to 51 the total of Sun Satellite Shops across the country, a press release from the firm said.

Operated by partner-retailer, Dailyware San Carlos, the new Sun Satellite Shop will serve subscribers and offer services not only for Sun but also for Smart, Talk N Text, and SmartBro brands, it said.

Partnering with authorized retailers is in line with the brand's strategy to accelerate regional growth and maximize its presence in the communities where its market segments are, the press release added.

The new satellite branch expands the brand's footprint in Negros Occidental. There is already an existing Sun Satellite branch in Bacolod City, and another one is slated to open in Cadiz later this year. Also in the pipeline is Dailyware's second shop to be located in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, it said.

The satellite branches provide existing and prospective subscribers access to postpaid line applications, bills payment, after-sales service, and prepaid transactions for both its cellular and broadband brands, including its mobile Internet services.  The outlets also carry Smart, Talk N Text, and Smart Bro products and services, the press release said.

Sun is looking at expanding its branch network with 50 new stores this year. To know more about this business opportunity, email sunsatellitebranch@digitel.ph , it said. *
