No politics in
P500M loan – Lacson

Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson ruled out politics in the delay of the approval by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of the proposed P500 million loan by the provincial government to fund four major infrastructure projects.

Lacson said the members of the provincial board are just going through the process and are consistent, particularly, when it comes to borrowing of money.

“We want it to pass through the process and we have the committee hearing where all issues are taken up so that the SP can defend whatever action we take,” Lacson said.
