NPBC teams
dominate bowlfest

Roa's Lechon/TNT NPBC remains dominant in the men's division, while TNT Construction/NPBC Ladies keeps the lead in the women's bracket of the Bowlers of Bacolod City-organized Open Trio Bowling Spectacle at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Composed of Rey Gargar, Raymund Gargar, Ricky Ondovilla and Hernand Garciniego. Roa's downed Eco-Retirado led by Ver Villar in three matches, 958-888 for a six-round total of 5,879 points.

Davies 3 of Edgar Jerez is at No. 2 with 5,730 pts.

Other teams in the category are RJ Stars NPBC/Metro Sales with 5,690; Silverado assfbi, 5,659; Davies II, 5,610; BCY/Rapha, 5,609; Bago City Strikers, 5,582; ESD Solid Strikers, 5,499; Monday Club, 5,498; Davies I, 5,433; 69Ner's, 5,361; Sige Lang Bowlers, 5,237; TBLY, 5,118, and 4-Fun, 4,994.

The NPBC Ladies, managed by Nonoy Ruiz, grabbed the No. 1 spot from Tiger Eye with 6,695 points. Tiger Eye posted 6,533 to slip to No. 2.

RJ Stars NPBC/Metro Sales kept the No.3 spot with 6,289.

Daya's Team has 6,111; D'Explorer, 5,975; BCY/Rapha, 5,954, and Racahe, 5,774.

Roa NPBC registered the team's highest triple in the men's side with 1,072, while TNT NPBC Ladies in the women's single and triple 370 and 1,060.

In the individual contest, Nonoy Hulguin of RJ Stars booked the men's pinning record with 98, while Jumilyn Dela Cruz of Tiger Eye in the women's category with 94.

Lawrence Llena (Davies), and Rey Gargar (NPBC Roa) in the men's highest single and triple with 147 and 391, respectively.

In the women's bracket, Daya Magallanes (Daya's Team) and Precy Pillo (TNT Ladies) posted the single and triple records with 159 and 421 apiece.

Games will resume at 6 p.m. tonight.

Meanwhile, BCY Rapha is still on top in the Kami Mga Bowling Club Five-Man Team Bowling Tournament 2016 at the same venue.

After two rounds, BCY carries 2,256 points followed by KMH Duterte with 2,184, SCOOP/2GO Travellers, 2,082, TNT Construction, 2,069, and KMH-Cayetano, 2,057.*HLG
