Call center agents join PanAsiatic Run 2016

About 2,089 runners joined the first PanAsiatic Run 2016 yesterday in Bacolod City to mark the 6th anniversary of the call center company.

Majority of the participants were call center agents of PanAsiatic while only about a hundred were running enthusiasts including some members of the Negros Press Club led by its president Teresa Ellera.

Siony Hijara, PanAsiatic general manager, said the event was a big success despite the rainy weather.
Hijara said the PanAasiatic Run aims to promote wellness among their employees.

After the event, they plan to form a run club within the call center company, hoping to continue the activity every weekend.

“We want our agents to maintain a healthy lifestyle,” Hijara said.

She added that out of the 2,089 runners, about 1,600 joined the 3K run, while 600 joined the 5K and the rest participated in the 10K run.

Hijara said the event is a big achievement not only for PanAsiatic but for Bacolod City as well.*CGS
