Former Bacolod Councilor Dindo Ramos said he wants to run for vice mayor of Bacolod City in 2016.
Ramos, who is a member of the Grupo Progreso of the Nationalist People's Coalition, said he is pursuing his desire to run for a higher post if Councilor Roberto Rojas, who is graduating next year, will not run for vice mayor.
The NPC-Grupo Progreso, headed by Bacolod Rep. Evelio Leonardia, is set to announce its line-up this month.
Ramos said he had been a three-term councilor but if Rojas is chosen to run for vice mayor, he will settle for the position of councilor.*CGS
