Brownout in Tanjay

The Negros Oriental Electric Cooperative 2 announced a scheduled brownout from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 1 and 2, affecting barangays in Tanjay City.

Its g eneral manager, Dionefred Macahig, said this is to give way for the replacement of dilapidated backbone pole and trimming of vegetation, its press release said.

Areas affected are Barangays 1, San Jose, Manipis, Novallas, Sta. Cruz Viejo, Sta. Cruz Nuevo, Bahi-an and Pal-ew in Tanjay City.

The brownout Saturday will affect Lawton and Lawton Drive to Sitio Lomboy in Poblacion Tanjay. Member-customer-owners are advised to take the necessary precautions, the press release added.*RG
