City cops securing
Batang Pinoy sites

BY SHIELA GELERA

Policemen will be deployed in several areas as the delegates of the Batang Pinoy Games arrive in Bacolod City today.

Senior Supt. Edgardo Ordaniel, acting city police director, said yesterday that he is still waiting for the 150 additional policemen to augment them from the Police Regional Office-6 he had requested, but in the meantime, will utilize his men.

He said security for the 11 billeting areas and several playing venues of the Batang Pinoy that will start on Tuesday, at about 4 p.m., is all set.

A maximum of four policemen will secure every venue where the players and their coaches will be housed, starting today, Ordaniel said.*SGG
