Rapiz said they are pushing for the eradication, not only of the callboys but also of pimps, in the streets of Bacolod City through the “Oplan Magdalena”.
He said they are also monitoring gay bars in the city to ensure that they are not holding indecent shows that are prohibited by law.
On Wednesday, City police director Senior Supt. Ricardo de la Pazattended the City Peace and Order Council meeting at the Bacolod Government Center, where he reported on the series of gay killings in Bacolod.

He told the CPOC members there are no groups in Bacolod out to kill gays and that the motives for each of these killings were different.
De la Paz added that four out of the five gay killings in Bacolod City have already been resolved and the suspects arrested and charged in court.
He also said he is open to a dialog with the members of the Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual community through their organization-“Ang Ladlad and will give them tips on how they can avoid being victimized by criminals.*APN
