End of mills’ operations

The Sugar Regulatory Administration has released a report for the tentative and final dates of milling termination of the different mill companies it supervises.

The firms that have ended their milling operations are Sagay Sugar Central (June 24) Victorias Milling Co. (May 30 for refined sugar and June 11 for raw sugar), Hawaian Philippine Co. (April 28), FF HC (March 29 for refined sugar and May 20 for raw sugar), and CASA (April 28).

Other companies that have also terminated milling include Capiz (April 4), PASS 1 (May 2), CAC (April 22), BISCOM (March 23 for refined sugar and April 29 for raw sugar), SONEDCO (May 3 for raw sugar and May 8 for refined sugar), and URSUMCO (May 13 for refined sugar and May 26 for raw sugar).

The SRA report also includes CAB (April 30), HTCI (May 15), BOMEDCO (June 10), DURANO (January 1), and HISUMCO (March 30 for refined sugar and May 11 for raw sugar).

Those which have tentative dates for termination of milling operations are OPTION (July 31) and Lopez Sugar Corp. (July 8), the SRA said.*PP
